2026/2027 1st Semester Topics Published
KIBERLAB continues to offer exciting, up-to-date topic calls in the 2026/27 (1st) semester for BSc, MSc, and PhD students alike. The Lab’s goal is to help students gain deeper practical knowledge and hands-on experience across multiple areas of cybersecurity by solving real industrial problems while working closely with leading professionals and academic staff.
The research portfolio includes both long-running projects and newly announced topics. The published themes cover, among others, incident management (e.g., honeypots, attacker profiling, anti-phishing solutions), defenses against financial fraud, risk management (such as LLM testing, shadow IT, remote browser isolation), as well as other freely chosen areas (e.g., news crawlers). The full list is available on the following page: ELTE–OTP KIBERLAB TOPICS 2026/2027 (1st semester).
